Over the last 2 years we have been working with Silk Street on everything from larger projects like their rebrand and website redesign to smaller marketing campaigns which have included print design and email marketing. The most recent project completed together was the complete rebuild of the Silk Street website – built from the ground up in WordPress, the site has been designed to generate more leads and differentiate the agency.
Silk Street is an entertainment agency providing quality acts for events including weddings and private functions. During our time working with Silk Street since 2016 we have worked on projects including brochure design, promotional digital content and email marketing automation set up.
It became clear along the way that the business needed a rebrand. Why? Because the business needed to communicate why it was different to the many competitors in the event entertainment market. Throw into the mix the number of different audiences Silk Street deals with – this was a tough brief.
The entertainment market is a competitive one with the need to differentiate becoming increasingly important.
Silk Street was targeting different audiences from corporate event and wedding markets being two of the biggest. A professional, high end identity was needed that could appeal to both, not being too corporate to alienate the wedding and private event audiences.
Although Silk Street had a great reputation in the market their web presence had fallen behind some of the competition – resulting in the site not generating enough leads and bookings.
We have been enjoying our work with Silk Street since 2016 on various projects all of which have had a positive impact on the business from automated proposal follow up to exit intent marketing the Silk Street brand and marketing strategy are more consistent and effective.
The new website has been designed to automate as much of the lead generation process as possible, by focusing on the user experience we have managed to map a process which makes event booking much easier than the traditional catalogue style used by it’s competitors.
We’re strong believers in “joining up” marketing by integrating and automating marketing – saving Silk Street time and money. Before we start working on a new project for Silk Street we look at ways the new campaign or project can be integrated with previous ones. For example, our guide produced to complement the follow up sales process has been integrated with the website as a piece of downloadable lead generation material.
